These General Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy (hereinafter collectively the "Terms") are effective as of 26 July 2026.
1.1. Welcome to Viiplay! These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter the "Agreement" or "Terms") govern the relationship between you ("you" or "user") and Viiplay s.r.o., ID No.: 08392480, registered office at Jugoslávská 677/121, Černá Pole, 613 00 Brno, Czech Republic (hereinafter "Viiplay", "we" or "us"), and any affiliated persons. Viiplay is a music platform that enables artists, bands, producers and other music creators (hereinafter "artists") to receive financial contributions from listeners and fans in the form of subscriptions or one-off payments.
1.2. Use of the Viiplay.com website, related mobile applications and all services, features and products available through this platform (hereinafter the "Services") is conditional upon you reading, understanding and expressly accepting these Terms. Materials published on the platform are protected by intellectual property regulations.
1.3. Some articles begin with a short summary marked "TLDR". These summaries are for orientation purposes only and are not legally binding – the full wording of the relevant article is always decisive.
1.4. You may communicate with us by email at info@viiplay.com. We do not use chatbots when communicating with users.
1.5. Some provisions of these Terms may apply differently depending on the platform (e.g. App Store, Google Play) on which you use Viiplay, in accordance with the terms of that platform.
2.1. Upon registration, you are required to provide true and accurate information and to keep it up to date.
2.2. An account may be created by a person over 13 years of age. If you wish to financially support an artist as a listener, you must be at least 13 years old. If you wish to offer membership as an artist, you must be over 18 years of age, or fully legally capable based on a court decision or other relevant authority – since funds will be paid out to you through the platform, you must be of legal age for this purpose.
2.3. You bear full responsibility for all activity on your account and for its security. If you believe your account has been misused, contact us immediately.
3.1. You are responsible for all activity on your account. Violation of our guidelines may lead to account termination.
3.2. It is prohibited to act unlawfully, harass other users or attempt to technically abuse the platform. For artists who raise funds on Viiplay, we monitor how they handle these funds.
3.3. If you discover a new way to harm the platform or community that our guidelines do not expressly address, we may, at our discretion, take reasonable corrective action.
3.4. Opinions of artists published on Viiplay are not the opinions of Viiplay.
An artist is a person or group of persons who provides their music recordings, music tracks or other related content to their listeners on Viiplay in exchange for support in the form of a subscription or one-off contributions. The artist undertakes to comply with the rules regarding payments, fees, taxes and content described in these Terms. To create an artist profile, it is necessary to verify identity and age through our payment processor Stripe.
To offer membership, simply create an artist profile and set up membership tiers. Membership is intended for your most loyal listeners – offer them exclusive music tracks, early access to new recordings, merch or other unique benefits. Listeners in turn pay in the form of a regular subscription or for bonus content.
6.1. The artist makes their membership available through Viiplay and we mediate their offer to listeners in the form of a subscription or one-off payments.
6.2. You acknowledge that Viiplay is not responsible for the technical processing of payments – all transactions are processed and funds are held until payout by Stripe, or another payment processor we may work with in the future. Viiplay is responsible for the instructions it gives to this processor, not for whether the payment processor fulfils its own obligations.
6.3. We may, at our discretion, convert the membership price into the listener's local currency according to the current exchange rate and may charge an additional fee for this conversion.
6.4. Depending on your settings and in accordance with in-app payment platform rules (e.g. App Store), we may increase the membership price by fees charged by these platforms.
6.5. We pay increased attention to fraudulent payments, chargebacks and disputes. For purchases through third-party platforms, however, these matters may be resolved directly by the relevant platform.
6.6. For purchases through third-party platforms, we act as a commission agent of the artist when dealing with the operator of such a platform.
6.7. We strive to ensure timely access to your funds; delays may exceptionally occur. We may block or hold payments due to a breach of the Terms or for reasons related to legal regulations, including tax reporting. We will inform you of the reasons.
6.8. It is prohibited to use stolen or unauthorized payment cards.
6.9. If, as a result of payment returns, your account balance falls into negative values, we reserve the right to deduct this difference from your future payouts.
6.10. Artists are prohibited from requesting payments from listeners outside the platform, including publishing bank account details for the purpose of direct transfers. This is a gross violation of the Terms.
6.11. If you wish to change the entity through which you offer membership as an artist (e.g. transition from an individual to a business company), you must request this in advance at info@viiplay.com. The change is subject to our approval and the approval of the payment processor Stripe.
7.1. Viiplay charges a fee of 10% of each contribution that an artist receives from a listener. The fee includes both the costs of the payment processor Stripe and the Viiplay operating fee intended for the development and maintenance of the platform.
7.2. The payment card details you add to support an artist are stored with Stripe. Viiplay reserves the right to change the payment processor at any time and does not store any payment card details.
7.3. Depending on your bank, you may be charged a foreign transaction fee; this fee is not under our control.
7.4. We reserve the right to adjust the level of fees in the future or to introduce new fees.
7.5. If a payment is successfully charged back by the listener's bank, Viiplay pays the fee to the bank and the artist returns the corresponding subscription amount to the listener. If the bank rejects the chargeback or accepts our objection, the artist has no obligation to return the funds.
8.1. We collect tax identification data and report it to the relevant authorities where required by law. You are responsible for reporting and paying taxes on the payments you receive.
8.2. In jurisdictions where Viiplay is obliged to collect tax on transactions, this tax is already included in the contribution price and its amount is displayed in the revenue overview.
8.3. As an artist, you are solely responsible for determining, declaring and paying taxes (e.g. income tax or VAT) on payments you receive for electronically supplied services.
9.1. The following content or benefits are not permitted on the platform:
If we reasonably believe that uploaded content violates these Terms or could cause harm to Viiplay, listeners, artists or third parties, we may, at our discretion, remove or disable it. Similarly, we strictly prohibit content corresponding to the list of prohibited and restricted businesses published by our payment processor Stripe.
9.2. We regularly review uploaded content. Reviews are carried out by members of our team based on their own judgement, not automated algorithms, and their decision to remove content is final.
9.3. If you report illegal content to us, we will confirm receipt of the report and evaluate it using the procedure described above. We will inform you and the affected artist of the outcome and a brief justification. Unclear reports from which it is not apparent what they relate to are not subject to our obligation to process.
9.4. Persons under 13 cannot use Viiplay at all. If you have listeners under 18, they have access to membership as listeners under the conditions set out in Article 2.2 of these Terms; however, only persons over 18 may offer membership as an artist.
9.5. As an artist, you are responsible for the security of your listeners' data.
9.6. An artist's account is tied to their creative activity and cannot be sold or transferred to another person.
10.1. To become a listener, create an account, complete payment via Stripe and join the membership of your chosen artist.
10.2. We offer two types of membership: a monthly subscription with access to all music tracks published for members, and one-off bonus content available only to those who have an active monthly subscription with the given artist; bonus content remains accessible even after the subscription ends.
10.3. The price and terms of the subscription depend on the specific artist and the type of membership; details can be found when entering the system and in the confirmation after each payment. You can find an overview of active memberships and payment history in your profile.
10.4. As a consumer, you expressly request that the artist's digital content be made available to you immediately upon joining the membership, i.e. even before the statutory withdrawal period expires. You agree that you thereby lose the right to withdraw from the contract in relation to such content. If you do not agree with this, you cannot become a listener.
10.5. The subscription renews automatically until it is cancelled. Cancellation or downgrade of membership takes effect only in the next billing period.
10.6. By cancelling your subscription, you may lose access to exclusive content and benefits, for example as a result of payment failure or the artist's account being cancelled. We do not guarantee permanent access to a specific artist's content.
10.7. We allow the purchase of subscription vouchers that can be gifted to a third party. The voucher has no expiry date, cannot be interrupted, and its duration does not change even if the subscription price later increases.
10.8. We cannot fully control the quality and content of individual artists' offers. If you come across a suspicious profile, please let us know.
10.9. If Viiplay is obliged to collect tax (e.g. VAT) in a given jurisdiction, this tax will be added to the total price and paid to the relevant authority. You are responsible for the accuracy and currency of your billing address.
10.10. Depending on your bank, you may be charged a foreign transaction fee that Viiplay has no control over.
10.11. Do not attempt to replicate any activity published on the platform unless you have the necessary knowledge or equipment; Viiplay is not responsible for any consequences of imitating content.
10.12. Viiplay is not responsible for your mobile data usage when using the Services.
11.1. Our standard policy is not to issue refunds; exceptions are assessed individually at our discretion.
11.2. The refunded amount is deducted from the artist's funds not yet paid out by the payment processor. If a refund is necessary only after a payout, we proceed in accordance with Article 6.9 of these Terms.
11.3. For purchases through third-party platforms (e.g. App Store), it may be necessary to handle refund requests directly with the operator of that platform.
12.1. We actively review selected profiles and content to verify compliance with the Terms, and we investigate reported violations, including how funds raised through Viiplay are used.
12.2. In most cases, we resolve identified violations in cooperation with the artist. We only resort to account termination in extreme cases.
12.3. We reserve the right to exclude an artist or listener from membership; such a person may then not receive or make new payments, but this does not automatically result in the termination of their account on the platform.
12.4. If you become aware of a violation of the Terms, please let us know.
12.5. We continuously test new features, often only on a portion of the user base. If a tested feature deviates substantially from these Terms, we will explain the differences separately.
12.6. With your consent, we may allow other services to verify information about your account or act on your behalf – see the Privacy Policy for more details.
12.7. On the platform, we display an overview of popular artists, selected by the Viiplay team and ranked in random order.
13.1. You may permanently delete your account at any time in your profile settings.
13.2. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time at our discretion, including cancelling subscriptions and removing content.
13.3. These Terms remain in effect even after your account is terminated.
14.1. All ownership rights to the music tracks and other content you publish on Viiplay remain with you. Viiplay obtains only the licence described below from you for operational reasons.
14.2. By publishing content on Viiplay, you grant us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, distribute and make it publicly available to the extent necessary to provide and promote your membership to listeners. This licence does not include the right to commercially exploit the content beyond this purpose.
14.3. You must not publish content that infringes the intellectual property or other rights of third parties.
14.4. You are fully responsible for all content you upload, including its legality and accuracy.
14.5. Listeners must not use the artist's content in any way that the artist has not expressly permitted.
15.1. When registering an artist profile, it is possible to voluntarily check the option to cooperate with Slowdown Radio. By checking this option, the artist grants Viiplay consent that the music tracks they publish on the platform may be used, without further consent or additional remuneration beyond this licence, for broadcasting on Slowdown Radio or included in selected programmes of this radio.
15.2. This consent applies only to content that the artist publishes while the cooperation option is active, and does not affect the artist's ownership rights to their work as described in Article 14 of these Terms.
15.3. The artist may withdraw consent to cooperate with Slowdown Radio at any time in their profile settings; the withdrawal does not affect broadcasts that have already occurred prior to it.
15.4. The decision to include a specific music track in the broadcast or a programme of Slowdown Radio is made by the radio's editorial team at its own discretion; neither Viiplay nor Slowdown Radio guarantee that broadcasting will take place.
16.1. To enable additional features, you may allow Viiplay to access your accounts on third-party platforms (e.g. Google, YouTube, Instagram, Spotify). An overview of the scope of access is always displayed before linking.
16.2. Similarly, you may allow selected third-party applications to access your data on Viiplay, to the extent you choose yourself.
16.3. You may revoke granted access at any time in the security settings of the relevant third party.
17.1. Artists are obliged to label content that may be inappropriate for children and adolescents.
17.2. If an artist primarily creates content inappropriate for minors, they are obliged to inform us; such a profile will then be marked as intended exclusively for adult users.
17.3. Users accessing content inappropriate for minors must truthfully confirm that they are of legal age.
17.4. We use automated tools based on artificial intelligence to detect inappropriately labelled content. If we detect a violation, we will remove the content or restrict its availability; repeated violations may also result in permanent account termination.
17.5. Content involving pornography or gratuitous violence is prohibited in accordance with Article 9.1 and will be removed immediately.
18.1. Trademarks, logo, source codes and texts of the Viiplay platform are protected by copyright, industrial property rights and trade secrets. We grant you a limited licence to use our logo exclusively for the purpose of promoting your profile on Viiplay.
18.2. Without our written consent, you may not otherwise use, reproduce or create derivative works from our intellectual property.
18.3. Without our written consent, it is prohibited to scrape, process or otherwise use data or content from the platform.
19.1. To the extent permitted by law, you undertake to indemnify Viiplay for all damages, lost profits and legal costs arising in connection with a breach of these Terms or your use of the Services.
19.2. This obligation also applies to our subsidiary and affiliated companies, their statutory bodies, employees, representatives and service providers.
20.1. Viiplay provides the Services "as is", without any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement of third-party rights, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for technical outages of our own systems or those of third parties.
20.2. We are not liable for the loss of data uploaded to the platform; we recommend regularly backing up important data.
21.1. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising in connection with these Terms or the use of Viiplay. Our liability is limited to the amount we have received from your use of Viiplay in the last 12 months.
21.2. This limitation also applies to our subsidiary and affiliated companies, statutory bodies, employees, representatives and third-party service providers.
22.1. In case of any problem, please contact us primarily at info@viiplay.com. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, a court shall have jurisdiction to decide.
22.2. These Terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic; this does not affect consumer protection rights arising from the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
22.3. The courts of the Czech Republic have jurisdiction to decide disputes arising from these Terms.
22.4. The Czech Trade Inspection Authority (www.coi.gov.cz) and the online dispute resolution platform at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr are competent for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes.
23.1. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Viiplay and supersede all prior agreements. If any provision proves to be unenforceable, the remainder of the Terms remains in effect.
23.2. The application of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is expressly excluded.
23.3. We may reasonably amend the Terms unilaterally; we will inform you of material changes by email at least 15 days in advance. By continuing to use Viiplay after the change takes effect, you express your consent to it.
23.4. Information regarding your account will be sent to you exclusively electronically, in particular to the email address provided during registration.

Viiplay is a platform where listeners can support artists and their music. This Privacy Policy applies to listeners, artists and all other users and is an integral part of the General Terms and Conditions. By using Viiplay, you consent to your personal data being processed and stored in the Czech Republic in the manner described in this Policy.
This includes in particular your name, email address, payment details and information about the benefits you offer or use. The scope of the data collected varies depending on whether you are a listener or an artist:
You can also log in via a Google or Facebook account – in that case, we will request access to basic data from that account (name, email, profile photo). The link can be revoked at any time in the settings of the relevant social network.
As a listener, you provide payment details directly to our payment processor Stripe; Viiplay does not receive your full payment card number, only a token containing the card type, last four digits and expiry date. We also process information about which artists you support, at what level and how often.
As an artist, you create a profile describing your work and the benefits you offer. To receive payments, you must set up an account with Stripe and, if necessary, provide bank account details and tax details, such as first and last name, address, tax identification number, date of birth and telephone number, to the extent required by your jurisdiction.
If you check the option to cooperate with Slowdown Radio during registration, we also process data about this consent and the information necessary for the possible inclusion of your music track in the broadcast – see Article 15 of the General Terms and Conditions.
Automatically collected data: device type, operating system, browser type, IP address, device ID, pages visited, referring pages and search queries. We derive location from the stated country, IP address and payment card data.
User surveys: we may occasionally ask for demographic data (e.g. gender, age, approximate income) to better understand our user base; providing this data is always voluntary.
Cookies: see the separate Cookie Policy below.
Social network features: widgets such as the Share button may collect data about your IP address and the page visited; their operation is governed by the privacy policy of the relevant social network.
By joining an artist's membership, you consent to the sharing of your name, email, messages sent to the artist, any delivery address and information about the amount and date of your contributions (but not full payment details).
We do not sell personal data. We share it only:
Your data may be processed in particular by the following processors: Mux, Google Analytics, Google Cloud Storage, Stripe.
In your account settings, you can view, edit or export your data at any time, opt out of marketing communications or permanently delete your account. We process marketing opt-outs within 30 days; transactional emails (e.g. payment confirmations) will continue to be sent to you.
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access your personal data, rectify it, erase it, restrict processing, data portability and the right to object to processing. Submit requests to info@viiplay.com; for security reasons, we will ask you to verify your identity by logging into your account.
We retain your account data for ten years from the last activity, unless you delete the account earlier. When protecting your data, we follow standard industry security practices.
Viiplay is not intended for children under 13. A person over 13 may support an artist as a listener. Only a person over 18, or a person fully legally capable based on a court decision or other relevant authority, may create an artist profile and receive payouts.
Cookies on Viiplay are not used to personally identify you beyond the purposes described here.
We currently do not evaluate "Do Not Track" browser signals. You can manage cookies in your browser settings; rejecting them may limit the functionality of Viiplay.
